I've personally found a way to LOCK MY OWN THREADS....how bout that PacMania? That way when a complete CHUMP goes off like a PuxxY and starts shit and then cries to the mods when the heat gets thick...& their "CHEMISTRY" can't answer BASIC football questions....I can lock my own thread....ain't that sweet?

@ Pacmania...actually It was stupid of you to allow the thread to remain open at all. If you felt it should of been locked..then lock it...you damn sure haven't had any problems locking threads...so why start now?

I made a point in that thread early on and that was something you have no knowledge of so I won't get into it...but some people got offended at the term "SUCKER CARDS" and the only guinea pig so to speak...where I could prove my point..was "phinsfan." And boy did they PROVE my point and then some. But then they had to go to that crap about how they are a "CHEMIST"...like that MEANS ANYTHING AT ALL? lmao...and in addition...said that not only are they a CHEMIST..but they are a 25 year football GURU....a football GURU Hobbiest...who couldn't answer pop warner questions. Then the CHEMIST wanted to go cry to the feedback section..after..of course..they instigated the issue.

I left it open because I was hoping that some people had the maturity to keep on topic. I also removed most of the inflammatory remarks unless they contained something about the topic itself.

I wasn't taking sides either, if you had of gone back on topic or even simply removed the offensive remarks from when you were replying you wouldn't have been formally warned. I was quite happy to leave it at an informal warning.

I think it was you Pacmania that said as much in another thread regarding how many damn people almost "SPAM" the feedback section at their every chance. You mentioned that not every d/l is illegal..etc..etc. This is almost the same type of thing here. Furthermore..they said my point being made in that football thread were "FUTILE." That comment shows how truly ignorant they really are. They don't understand either....so they shouldn't comment.

My point was FAR from futile as under those conditions I mentioned a person will NOT...EVER WIN. Gambling is a serious problem for a lot of people and..alot of people lose everything they have gambling...and what's sad is that it usually starts with people like in the thread who play those "SUCKER CARDS." It's not my business if someone kills themself over losing everything gambling...and let's just say that I am familiar with this...and it's not because i've been on the gambling end of it. I figured instead of going into all that..i'd simply make a point that you will NOT EVER WIN...and I challenged anyone to post picks for the rest of the year on it. There were TEN FULL WEEKS remaining at that time...so there was PLENTY Of time to make ME look like the ass and prove that you CAN WIN.

I figured if one person takes me up on my offer and doesn't put MONEY down on their bets...because for that span..their picks on the board would be their bets....then when they see at the end of the year that they wouldn't of WON A SINGLE TIME...NOT ONCE....they could say...SHIT....i'm glad I never bet because that saved me quite a bit of money. For these reasons among others..my point was FAR FROM futile. That's just an extremely ignorant statement...and one made in a post they shouldn't of ever been in to begin with.

I agree with you that self-moderation shouldn't exist (I'm not saying it has in this topic either) but until the moderator/administrator's put in place rules to that regard right now it's really only voluntary as to whether or not people will refrain from the practice.

This forum is like any place in society, you always will encounter opposite ends of the spectrum, smart or dumb, ignorant or open and so forth. And also like in society you have to rationally deal with these opposites.

Their aren't always people that you are going to get along with but they key is to either ignore them or be open to their views yet debate them in a sensible manner.

As for the matter of the ban. I didn't ban you straight away because I (and I'm sure every other moderator) don't take banning users lightly.

I was going to discuss it in the moderator only forum to gauge the feelings of other moderators but then decided that another yellow card would probably be enough in this situation.

Plus a threat was enough to warrant a stop to your spamming. It's the same as the Soviet Union and America. The threat of mutually assured destruction stopped the Cold War from ever turning into physical warfare

If you had of kept on spamming the board with those 'blank' topics then you probably would have been banned.

I only made 3 because that's the number of topics I was going to post on....I was just being silly. But as I started to make the topics I read the "ban threat" which..then the topics "I SUSPECT" were immediately moved to the moderator forum...so I didn't get a chance to post the topics. I didn't see how that could be considered spamming as there was nothing there to spam.

You are correct in assuming they were moved but to the 'Closed Topics' forum. I was going to lock them but then weighed up the possibility that it would set a trend with copycats so decided it was safer to move them.

If you want, you can start the the threads (this time using the proper titles ).

Not that big on American history, just like to dabble in everything. That example was more an extreme example of economics theory not politics if we want to get technical. :P

Well..after this thread...I think i'm all "THREADED OUT"....and after calmly reading everything...I do agree that at least one card was justified. Maybe even the other on the spamming type deal...although there wasn't anything there to spam. I still disagree with the threat..especially the way it occurred...but now that you've made yourself clear...I realize why you did it. I'll admit..it does make sense. Everything else I said..I stand by because I absolutely believe in it.

On another note...i'm gonna be posting much less on the forum so you don't have to worry about whether or not i'll be getting another card because my posts will be few and far between. Of course...the wannabe mods...or as we call people like that down here...the "HATERS" will love that. But that will allow me to just ignore the completely idiotic posts as well as say things which i'm sure make me look like as much of an idiot as anyone else...whether I am right or not.

And one last thing for the record....if you or anyone else feels the need to want to ban me.....don't bother...just tell me via PM or through a post...that you'd like it if I didn't post on the forum any longer...and I'd hear ya'. I mean...if you banned me...I could just come back under another name like we've seen before..right? Or come via another ISP....so what's the use in that? I guarantee i'd never post again. As a matter of fact...if anyone were ever considered to be permanently banned...i'd bet that many of them would probably say the same thing. Maybe i'm wrong...but I know I definitely would. Hell...in a way that might be a good thing. Then i'd only ever log onto my pc to quickly check my email and when I want to D/L mp3's.....legal mp3's of course. And on top of that....the only other problem i'd have would be what to do with the extra 20 hours a day or so I'd have. I should be able to squeeze a few things in that time frame...huh? Frankly, I do not see anywhere I either supported or condemned the actions of the moderators. I only said you should follow the rules of the board when complaining about warnings. As for sticking my nose in it, yes I did, but if you really did not want other people to respond, you would not have posted a topicand instead used personal messages.
