Hi , I used avi files to author a dvd with COMPLETE DVD(used divx 412 video codec and audio mp3 lawyer 128 to encode to avi with flask mpeg) . All seems well , but after COMPLETE DVD encoded video and audio , I notice on dvd preview , video and audio not synchronized , so I can not burned it . Have I done something wrong ? maybe complete dvd encoding parameters ? Can somebody help me ?

    THANKS

  2. You may want to test your authoring with a DVDRW so you don't waste anything, but on periodic occasions I have had DVD Complete play in preview a clip that seemed to be out of sync, but when I burned it, it burned fine. (other times it was out of sync and burned out of sync) See if it works by doing a burn to the DVDRW, if it does not work, then only thing wasted was time.

If the AVI prior to encoding plays properly then chances are it is just a preview fluke?!?!?!

  4. Only benefit of DVDRW is that you can always erase it if it dosen't work properly. After a while you may want to "Fly Blind" and burn a DVDR if you feel confident.

  5. its probably just a problem with your capture. Unless your authoring from a file or a rip, try re-capturing the video, or get a better capture device, thats probably the case, since dropped video frame/audio is inbalanced in will cause it to not be synchronized.

I use a Firewire card and a Sony DVR camera.
