nero 6 freezes when burning to dvd-video with ritek dvdr :(

I made a dvd from dvdshrink then went to brun using some ritek g03 dvd's which i heard everyone talk about saying oh ritek is the best. anyway the first one i tried to burn at 2x froze with 12 mins remaining. then i tried burning at 1x and it burned for 7 mins then frozze. the computer freezes up totally. control +alt+delete does nothing. Please help me I don't want to waste anymore since they cost me 2 dollars each please help. I have a pioneer a06 burner . thanks

I don't use Nero, but I'd offer some advise to save you some moohlah. :c)

Get a couple of RW discs and use them first. No coasters while you are sorting the problem. :c)

What burning program are you using? The above poster assumes you are using Nero 6 but you didn't state in your post.

Sorry, okay your posts states Nero 6, my oversight. Do you have the latest updates off of their site?

I found out the problem. It was nero 6 after all. I tested then burned a dvd with record now max and it worked fine. thanks
