Hi! I'm a newbie in encoding videos and I wanna know how I can add a title that would stay for the duration of the entire video? To make myself clear, when I download videos, the name of the encoder is plastered on the side like a subtitle. How do I do this?

I've tried making a subtitle but it's not working for me even if I've followed the how-to guide on adding permanent subtitle. Please help me. Thanks!

    Welcome. :c)

Friendly advice - don't say where you got your files.

You need to help people help you. What programs do you have so far, if any? Provide more info for more help.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I used SubStation Alpha and VirtualDub and followed one of the guides posted here but the subtitle won't appear when I preview it. Is this the only way to 'embed' (dunno if this is the correct term) the title to my home video? Thanks!

Yes! You add your title in Virtual Dub like before, but intsead of saving in Virtual Dub, you frameserve to TMPGEnc. Then do what you need in TMPGEnc to get your final product. You will only be encodeing once.

How do I go about frameserving? I checked other posts and I've tried opening my clip using VDub and then I clicked Start frame server but it's not serving. Did i miss a step or something? Thanks again!
