I made a significant discovery that may affect some of you who have complained that you can't successfully mux several m2v files and mp2 files that you have joined using mpgtx or some other method of concatenation. Some encoded m2v's have 5 bytes at the end that act as a sort of "show stopper" to indicate the end of a video sequence, and as long as they're there, programs like Sizzle and FFMpegX won't be able to successfully continue muxing once those bytes are encountered in the middle of an m2v file that has been created by joining several segments. The bytes in hex are B7 00 00 00 00.
Anyway, I've included instructions for removing those bytes to circumvent the problem in my article about using iDVD to encode individual projects that are intended to be joined to make DVDs that can exceed iDVD's 90 minute limitation.
