Narrowed down my choices

Ok guys bare with me on this one. I believe this has been asked before but now that I know what I want maybe some people could give me some suggestions.

I want to buy a good camcorder. I would like it to be 3CCD and miniDV(which the majority are I believe). I would like it to have good sound as well but usually an external mic is better for that.

What do you guys think about this? I would also use it as a passthrough device for about 3 old analog tapes.

Also how important is low light shooting?

Here are the ones that I have reviewed. Some of the more expensives I would have to get a hell of a deal on ebay to spend that much. I would prefer not to exceed 1400 at the most.

Canon GL1 (maybe find a good deal on ebay)
Canon GL2 (too pricey?)
Sony TRV950
Sony VX2000 (too pricey?)
Panasonic PV-GS70 (very cheap for a 3ccd cam but is it worth it)
Panasonic PV-DV953

Are there any others out there that you guys could think of? I would prefer it have an LCD screen to so the VX1000 is pretty much out of the deal.

Any comments are welcomed and hopefully I can narrow it down and make a purchase. Thanks guys.......as always.

If the Canon GL1 and GL2 have removeable lense, this is VERY good! That way you can use better lenses, and have a better selection of them. Sorry, that's all I can add.

Thanks for the reply....I'm not sure if they have removable lenses. Although I hear Canon makes some of the best lenses around.

Do you know if the sony's have removable lenses?

The only ones at this level are the Canons. To go up to the level where the other ones get that feature is mega bucks.
