  1. hi everyone,
    i have looked but did not find a solution. hopefully someone can help.
    i want to make a compilation of trailers on a dvd.
    the only problem is that i am getting the trailers in a format that i am unfamiliar with. how do i save or convert these to a format that i can work with eg. mpeg,avi. i presently go to http://entertainment.tv.yahoo.com/ to get the trailers anyone knows somewhere better to go please let me know. i am open to all suggesstions.

    I'm unfamiliar with the format too, since you did not specify what the format is.

  4. Looks like a WMV(Windows Media Viewer?) streaming video file.

    Try searching for information about capturing streaming video and the like.

    Or perhaps a program that captures video displayed on screen to an AVI file to work with.

    install the software then
    1. Right click on the player window (the one that opens up displaying the trailer)
    2. Click properties
    3. Copy the URL
    4. Paste it in the Program
    5. Click go!

  7. i figured it out

    download the trailer using quicktime pro and save it.
    use tmgenc to convert there is a guide in the forum
    i am of to play
