  1. Hi all,

I've been attempting to backup my "Pianist" disc, the main feature side. I ripped using DVDDecryptor - file mode.

For those not familiar with this disc, the entire movie is in like one huge .vob file.

I wanted to keep everything "as is" so I used DVDFab to split to 2 discs.DVDFab creates the first disc with the main .vob file (7GB+) and the second disc (200MB).

I'm not *blaming* DVDFab for doing this, but I am asking y'all for any advice. I wanted to keep the movie untouched, but I suspect I'll have to encode/transcode to manually split the movie?

    Thanks,

  2. Run DVD Shrink with no compression so you'll have 1GB VOBs
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.

try using ChopperXP to cut it - no reencoding / transcoding necessary.
