I'm getting, "Press F1 to Resume" everytime I either boot-up or Re-boot after networking my and my wife's computer both of which are running W2k. I'm using the NetBEUI protocol.
1. I've sent up shared folders and printers on both computers. I've confired that each computer can see the shared folder and printers.
2. My wife's computer does NOT get the "Press F1 to Resume".
3. I've entered my BIOS and everything (as far as I can tell) is still set correctly.
4. I have NOT added any new hardware.
5. My clock is NOT losing time which implies that my CMOS battery is still good.
Any ideas? It's no biggie but I now have to press F1 after every restart or startup.

What else are you getting?
There should be some failure shown, as "Primary Hard Drive Failure", "CD ROM Not ATAPI Compatible", etc.
Should also be "Press F1 to Resume. Press Delete to enter SetUp"
Are you getting such a message? -
Nope ... Nothing else ... No error messages. After I press F1 my machine boots up and works fine. If just stops half-way during boot and a get a message saying "Press F1 to Resume". Other than that nothing else unusal.

maybe it is searching for the other computer (or shared drive) and doesnt find it, hence the message?
