Hi,
I've been playing round with taking the output from my Sky Digibox to my Eye TV DVR using a SCART -> composite video link, and also just using the RF output on the back of the box.
I seem to get on fixed (4:3 I think) format when using the SCART output, however using the RF output I get black bars whenever a program is in widescreen......
I was wondering what other people thought of the difference in picture / sound / syncing / formating is when using the A/V input rather than RF? Any hints and tips would be great!

composite video is ALWAYS better than RF, no matter what it's coming from. if you've got it.. use it.

I've just found out that quality aside, stereo recording are only made through the A/V inputs - RF capture is only in mono.
