  1. audio encoded by TMPGE has some bass problems, so i've attempted to try toolame. well when i open up the toolame.exe file from the link (64kbyte), a window with dos command pops up and dissappears right away. i double click on .exe and window flashes up and gone. it's not useable on my TMPGE. i guess my computer is kinda weird, i'd like to know if there is an alternative for toolame, to encode the audio simultaneously with the TMPGE video encoding. thank you.

Since tooLAME is a command line based encoder of course nothing happens, if you just click on the .exe file.

  3. Have you selected TOOLAME as an external tool for TMPGENC? Start up TMPGENC, go to Option, choose Environmental Setting. Go to the tab marked External Tool. Check the boxes next to Layer-2 and Layer-3. Browse and find your TOOLAME prog. Now TMPGENC will open up the prog for you and insert the necessary command line function for DOS.
