  2. first off, is it a 1002 or a 1003? You gave two different numbers in the title & your actual post.

    Have you looked at:

    https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?dvdplayer=pacific

Quite a few hacks listed for the 1002 there.

    cheers,

  3. hi there

first many thanks for the reply there are 2 pacific dvd players here , one i just got for myself and its a 1002 w , the other is just 1002 and was bought earlier this year both from asda , someones post said they had displayed jpegs on theirs also , but i cant get any photo or pcitures cd to display , but id like to get rid of the macrovision if possible , i tried the 45610 hack on both did not seem to work , unless i did it too quickly or something , wil ltry again if i do not find a different and certified code .

  4. Hi - I've got a 1002..

I don't know if it plays Kodak Picture CD's or whatever they're called - but if you give it a data CD with your files on it, it will do automatic slideshows of all the jpegs in any folder you navigate it to (select the first JPEG and click play or enter, and it starts a slideshow).

as for Macrovision - not too sure I'm afraid. It seems there are a few different versions around anyway. ASDA must have sold thousands of these things!

    cheers,
    mcdruid.
