    All perfectly.

It says in the manual that all MP3's must be in the root and that you cant have mp3s and jpegs on the same disk. pish

Mine are in 3 folders deep and all have an album cover in them too.
It even plays MP3-DVD's which I didnt know was even possible.

    Aye, a great wee player.

  6. Have you had a look at the DVD Players section?

I had one of the Alba's (108 I think? - the ones CraigTucker collects ) from Argos for about a week, before it got stolen

It was excellent - last time I looked, I think Argos was selling them re-badged as Roadstar or something like that.

I've got a Pacific DVD-1002 now (less than £50 from ASDA) - which is just as good, if not better; ' plays anything & everything.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.

One more thumbs up here for the Pacific. I got the 1000 model as a gift last Christmas. Plays VCD SVCD DVD. :c)

Haven't tried MP3s yet as they sound best through the PC speaker set-up anyway. :c)

PS - region-free hack's provided in player list on this site. Look for that before you buy. :c)
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.

  8. Actually - just looked at my review for the ALBA:

Just got one of these from Argos in the UK - as per advice from vcdhelp, went to the store and ordered the DVD108 from the catalogue, but asked for the 114 as a substitute.
It was the 114 I had - which seemed to be better than the 108.

I'm not sure if you can still get the 114 instead - I think they started selling them in their own right, and then the rebadged Roadstar DVD114's, which looked identical.

I'd still recommend the Pacific though!

    cheers,
    mcdruid.

No, it plays the tracks then the image is shown on the screen, only 1 thing at a time.
