I had a problem with the video on some files so i downloaded klite codec pack and this seemed to solve the problem. however since then every time i open the player to view the file i get the message:
MFC Runtime Module.
This application or DLL cannot be loaded on win95 or win3.1.
It takes advantage of unicoded features only on winNT.
I use win98 2nd ed. i've done a quick search to see if i could find anything.
I've also deleted the codec pack and my player and i still got the message so i reinstalled them. you can get rid of the message by repeatedly clicking ok but it is anoying. can any one help?

Just about everyone here will advise AGAINST codec packs. Remove it again. You probably need one certain codec.
Look in TOOLS for Gspot. It will tell you how the video was made and show what codecs and if you have them on your system.
There's another tool too called AVI(something) I'm looking for that now. I'll post again when I find it.
Found it - AVIcodec here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=99#comments
try that - good luckThere's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.
