  1. Help! I've tried 2 different programs to make a vcd from a Pan. Minidv, 45 min long: Pinnacle instant cd/dvd and Sonic mydvd plus.

Pinnacle: It only coppied 18 mins worth because it said that was the amount of space I had. But I've got over 100 gigs free space

Sonic: When it began to copy it showed it would copy the video and audio. It did copy the complete tape and then burnt the vcd but there was no audio from the tape, only background music not from the tape. And the movie played in a small centered square in the middle of the background I picked.

I'm a newbbie at this. Can anyone help??

Have you tried the step-by-steps Guides on the left?

There are 3 here: https://www.videohelp.com/author#8 made by Baldrick, the Administrator of this site.

  3. All 3 of those require the purchase of more programs. I was trying to get advise on the two listed, 1 came with the puter and the other was a gift.

Yes, but......... VCDEasy is $20.00 and has a Trial period. So you could test it out just to see if you could get a working disc out of it.

I undersatnd what you're saying about not wanting to spend more money, but if those programs are not working for you, what are they worth to you?

Maybe someone will come along that uses the same as you. And keep in mind, you may be able to use those programs you now have for other things you learn to do.

Well, good luck with it. Hope you have success. :c)
