    Hi,

I have tried experimenting with my DVD's converting then to DivX mainly with DVDx. I have had some problems with it though. When I rip the VOB files from the DVD the colours appear nice and well defined, when I have converted it to DivX they lose colour and look more faint. I have seen other DivX movies that people have made and they look a lot better, a lot more like the original DVD.

Can someone help me out here please I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks.

Well, if you have Virtual Dub mod, you can load your VOBs, use a filter to adjust the colors to where you like them, them save them to DivX.

I've also noticed using DVDx that the movie has a slight blur to it compared to using other encoding programs.

P.S. Thanks for that program, it gives good quality colours but I'd rather using something like DVDx.
