Hi i`m kinda new at backing up my dvd collection. After ripping then using DVD2Avi, i go to encode them with TMPGEnc but before i select the source setting a window pops up with an error, P3Package.DLL. What does that mean???? Is there a file missing from TMPGEnc or does it mean that the dvd cannot be backed up??? Can someone please shed some light on the matter. Thanks inadvance, Mike.

  2. Try enetering "p3package.dll" into the search box at the top of the page, you should find several threads discussing this error and several possible solutions.

    Yet another theory

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/40101

The most common reason why people get this message is because they don't extract all files into one folder! You have to make sure that you have them extracted.

Another Reason why this happens is because people are running TMPGEnc from shortcuts they have made to it on their Desktop. Try running it from its exe file!

Thanks for the tips Holistic. I`ll give the search and links a try. I didn`t make short cuts of TMPGEnc on my desktop or anything. So that counts out that theory but as i said i`ll try the links you posted for me. Thanks again, i`ll let you know shortly, Mike.
