    I am thinking about getting either the TDK 4x multi- format fire/usb2 or the Sony drx-510UL...Any opinions regarding either?

    I have the Sony because it was the only dual format burner available when I bought it. If I was buying one today I'd probably try TDK since it's cheaper and I've had good luck with TDK products.
