    Will my standalone player think my TV Tuner card is an ok imput and let me play disks fine on the computer or will it give me macrovision problems?

    I think my Tuner card has TV in and a S video.

    Im not looking to do anything illegal, just play my standalone player on my monitor!

    I think the macrovision will be an issue unless you get a macrovision removal software for the TV tuner card, or get an in-line macrovision eliminator.
