I am a PC person and know very little about MACs.
I know even less about MAC DVD Ripping programs.
I will only have a MAC available to me at the same time as the DVDs.
So I need some quick directions on how to rip some material.
So if any MAC friendly people are reading this, PLEASE tell me how you would do what I need to do.
This is what I need to do.
I will have access to several Music Video collection DVDs. Some of them have only Dolby Audio, and some are only PCM audio.
I do not need copies of the entire DVDs, only a few music videos (Just a few chapters) from each DVD.
I know exactly how to do this with Smart Ripper, but as I mentioned above, I'm totally lost on a MAC.
I don't even know what DVD-Rippers work on MAC; much less one that can rip only selected chapters or short movies.
If my only option is to copy the entire DVDs, I'll do that, however I do not want to reduce or re-encode the video in any way, so I'm perfectly willing to re-burn on 2 DVD-Rs. I don't have the original DVDs at the moment, but I'm sure they are all DVD-9s.
Thanks for any help.
Barney.
PS: It would be great if you could carbon copy your responses to my E-Mail address also.
