    Of course a dummy question. I have a data cd-r 700mb recording of a movie. I tried to record it into my shared folder with Hi-Net Recorder, but nothing. Is the a converter? Have most all the codecs etc. Need to convert to AVI so daughter can play it. Thank you.

    Well, you first try to find out what kind of format the movie is in. Or you could take a shot in the dark, and use Virtual Dub mod to load it, then save it as an AVI. Otherwise try GSpot to give you a more precise and technical answer to what the file is and what codecs are needed.
