  1. I can't seem to change Divx to VCD... when converting back it has no sound...

    I assume your using TMPGenc, which does not handle compressed audio well, especially if its vbr which many divx files are.

    Load your divx file in virtual dub. Click file/save wav.

    Now load this wav in TMPGenc and encode it to mp2. Click file/mpeg tools/simple multiplex. Load your video file you already encoded (it might be an mpg in which case you need to demultiplex first)and your audio file and mux them together. Make sure you have mpeg1 vcd set on type.

    In the future always process your audio in virtual dub first and load this as your audio along with the divx file as the video in TMPGenc. This way you don't have to multiplex later.
