  1. Lets say I have some info on a cd and the only way to extract the data on your computer is by a password... is this possible

    or

    Is winzip or winrar the only other way.

  3. I think that winzip can create a password protected self extracting exe file. I have never done it though.

    If its only a slight concern winzip with a password. If it REALLY needs to be secure. PGP all the way. http://www.pgpi.org/products/pgp/versions/freeware/
