  1. Anyone has any idea how can join .rm clips in Mac OS X?
    My first thought is convert it to other format and use other tools to join them. But I don't know about the tools that can do that.

    You're right...the only way I would recommend is by converting them first to mpg and then using mpeg tools in tmpgenc to join the files. Good luck.

    the best way is to use the mencoder method and convert the .rm files to a quicktime usable format... However, Mencoder is picky about what real codecs it will convert. If Mplayer will play it, Mencoder will encode it. You can then join the files in Quicktime.

    This process has been covered time and time again, so a search of this forum will give you the answers and procedures you are looking for.

    Rule of thumb though, crap in = crap out.
