  1. Hi everybody, I'm a noob. I do know a lil about VCD though. I try to run certain videos through the converter from avi to mpeg. But it comes up and says Failed To Convert Video File Error : 80041c21. Does anyone know what is wrong with this and how i can get them to convert. I would really appreciate this. Thank You Very Much.

  2. Need more details. Are you captureing from a camcorder and trying to convert to VCD compliant MPEG1 files? Double check you Audio and Video capture settings.

  3. Hi there

Had very similar probs a little while ago. I'm not at my regular PC to check the accuracy of my post, but for me it proved to be an issue with the partition format and file sizes.

I think (if memory serves me correctly!) that I had a FAT partition and received the error whenever the final output exceeded 4gb. It seemed OK up to 4gb and failed at the point the output files reached that limit.

I created (and now only use) an NTFS partition, of suitable size and no longer have the problem. As I say, I am not at my PC to verify, but I think it was FAT that was the problem and NTFS that was the cure, but it could be the other way. Whatever you are using, use the other.

    Good luck
