  1. Hi all, i need help. I want to know if with my (latin american) AMD K6II 550mhz 128mb ram, can i use Avermedia EZmaker PCI, to capture video in mpeg1. Thanks for any help to the 3rd world.

    I never had your card so I may be wrong, but I would think if it does on the fly MPEG-1 encoding, then you should be able to capture in I-frames only mode? You won't have VCD-compliant mpegs, but you will have mpeg file after all (of course if you can change your card's standard IBP sequence to III). I remember doing this on a Pentium 0.2 GHz (233MHz I mean ) with ATI All-In-Wonder Pro.

    The Avermedia card doesn't. I had it. Software encoding.
