How? Process Job in Virtualdub: Multiple MJPEGs->Uncompre

I am doing some movies from a Finepix s602, and after a session, I may end up with several MJPG files that I need to convert. I want to convert because I want to pull into Premier to edit, etc. I can do this one at a time, but can't figure out the job system in Virtual dub.

I looked on their web site...no mention of Jobs. I looked here at the How To Guides for Virtual Dub...none of them mention how to do jobs.

I played with it a little. You can select "Process Directory". But I see no way to do the settings. So I set them out in the menus (Convert audio to 48K, no compression for video). Then I open the job engine, and select my directory. It loads all the files in the list. But when I tell it to process. The ALL error out.

By the way, I see no options for nameing them for a new save, or anything like that.

Any ideas?

Well, you seem to be on the right track.
1. Select your video and audio settings first.
2. Then select job control.
3. Select 'Edit' -> 'Process Directory'.
4. Select your source directory.
5. Then select your destination directory (make sure this is different from your source directory otherwise you will get an error because it will try to overwrite the each of the source files), this could be the cause of your errors.
6. Press start and it should run through the files sequentially.

Thanks! This makes sense. In fact, I was wondering why I had to select the source twice . The second selection was the destination
