I just bought a Nec ND-1300A dvd burner , it's dual drive and I would like to know what kind of media I should use to make a backup of my home movies and play them in my Dvd player ( an Apex 1500D), should it be DVD+R , or DVD -R. if anyone has this same burner , could you help me decide which brand of media is the best?,thank you in advance.

Stick to Riteks and you wont go far wrong.
These are reliable, when burning and palying back and are more compatible with standalone payers than other brands/dyetypes.
+r or -r is up to you .... personal choice/availability/price etc., although -r's are slightly more compatible with standalones.
