  1. the movie standard is 16:9 widescreen...the subs dont appear on my sony / mustek anda XBOX dvd players...when i change de dvd player view mode to 4:3 the subs apeear. Help please

    Need more detail here. If I understand you correctly you are tyring to watch a 16x9 enhanced DVD on a 16x9 TV but the subs get cut off unless you set the DVD player to 4:3

    Sorry but unless the DVD was incorrectly made that just doesn't happen.

    So please more info about exactly the source and the TV display etc.

    If the DVD is 4:3 widescreen but you are watching it on a 16x9 widescreen TV then the subs will get cut off if you are using the TV to resize the 4:3 image to fit the 16x9 image of the TV. But again it is hard to tell from the lack of detail in what you are saying.

  3. imagine: a copyrighted movie....in both formats (16:9 and 4:3) the subs are present...when you "decrypt" the dvd and after that you author with dvd shrink 3 beta 5...the final result was...no legends showed up in standard 16:9...they just apeear when i change the dvd player system in 4:3 mode...
    Yes my tv is 4:3...in 16:9 format the black boarders are activated as normal...but the subs dont appear...just with this movie...the others are fine...and have the same format. I've tried fixing dvd sectors etc...please telm me if there's some program to check some errors on my dvd...or another program that can fiz this sub problem...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well I don't know what to say ... you contradict yourself several times in short making not a whole lot of more sense than before plus you are using a program in BETA stages so you can't expect it to be 100% error free.

    Try another method of backing it up (such as DVD2ONE or whatever else you might have) or simply wait for the new STABLE version of DVDShrink 3.0 and try again.
