  1. Which option in Nero would I use to burn a mpeg iso. I am talking about just being able to copy the mpeg1/2 to dvdr(w) without authoring and playing in my apex ad-1500.

    Thanks.

One question, what are you trying to do? I'm not sure...but if I understand correctly, I think you want to burn as a dat file and then empty the cd later.

  4. If it already an iso you just go file, open select the iso file and nero will automatically start burning it.
    If it's wet, drink it

  5. What I am trying to do is just be able to copy the mpeg to dvd as data and have it play in my dvd player. I have read where that can be done but I am not sure how.

    Thanks.

Oh. Does your player play divx files. If so, then all you have to do is burn it to a cd and it'll play. If not, then I think the only option you have is to author.

Well I have a copy of Nero
I fired it up and it started with a wizard that
had a selection for DATA DVD
I then dragged a file to it.

    Nothing to it

  8. I presume you have d/l this mpeg file from the net, then it must be a 1 or 2 and not a dvd compliant file.In this case you just burned it to a cdr instead of a dvdr There is no way other than to convert it to dvd compliant. You can also use Isobuster to extract and checked.

  9. Thanks for all your replies. So, basically I can just burn a DVD compliant MPEG2 to DVDRW as a data disc and it should play in my DVD Player. Which data option do I use? There is DVD-ROM (ISO), DVD-ROM(UDF), and DVD-ROM(UDF/ISO).

    Thanks.

Of course. you can burn any file to a DVDRW as data.
and it should play in my DVD Player
That's a completely different story, and only your DVD player specifications (or trial and error) can tell. It's not a general feature of DVD players to play data files on CD/DVD
Which data option do I use?
Again, consult the specs and/or manual for your player.
