    i got a backpack bec external dvd+rw driver and it use to work awesome with nero now nero doesnt recongize it nothing does? how do i burn someone help

    I would try the following. First in windows device manager I would remove the DVD burner then re-boot and let windows find and install it again. If that doesn't fix it then I would Un-install Nero re-boot and install it again.

    I had similar problems and only reinstalling NERO helped.

    My problem came after changing writers. It's as if NERO is locked to the writer used when installed.

    If yours is a portable USB, maybe NERO isn't recognising the drive each time as the same.
