  1. i use nero as my burning software...but it doesnt cut a movie automatically for me like easy cd creator used to to. after waiting for like 2 hours for the movie to encode, it then told me that it was too long, and that was it. how do you cut a movie in half so you can put it on two disks. also, if want to make more than one copy of a disk, how do you do it without having to encode twice? thank you very much.

  2. Nero is not the bets encoder, it's actually in my opinion not even a good encoder. You'd be better served using something like TMPGEN to encode to MPEG1 or MPEG2, then burning it to disc with Nero.

    Simply do a disk copy of your 1st disk.

    Encode to your hard drive with TMPGenc and just use Nero to burn.

    Virtual Dub will cure your woes there. And TMPGEnc can cut it up as well.
