  1. Hi Im having a crisis here, with some of my movies. I saved them onto the computer in Windows Movie Maker and all was well until one day, the movies came out blurry, mosaic like with little squares all over the place. Dont really know how to explain it but I know I am desperate as they are the only copies I have. I tried everything from changing the quality to increasing it, using a different editing suite and encoder and saving it in a different file format, you name it I tried it it didnt work including the Tmpgenc but I am willing to give anything a shot. Some of my movies are in WMV or AVI format. Is there any hope to change them in the way they first came out? I only use Windows Movie Maker to edit my movies and thats where the problems began. I use Nero to burn my CDs which is fine.
Anyone know why this is happening and can anything be done about it?

Also anyone using Windows Movie Maker know why does when u go to save a movie in a chosen format, the saving process stops at 86% instead of 100% and the numbers goes back upwards?

Hope it makes sense I appreciate any help given. Thanks

You need to explain things better.
What do you view the movies with ?
Are you saying that one day you play the movie with some program
and the next day with the same program it looks different ?

  3. What was the last thing you did before they looked different? Have you tried viewing it in other players?
