  1. Ok I am using DVD X Copy Xpress to burn my collection of DVD's. Here is what the problem is. First I put the DVD in and it reads fine. Then when instructed I put a DVD=RW in to test the DVD make sure it looks good and works. After it gets done burning I push it right back in and test on the same DVD+RW Drive I just used. It works perfectly. Then I do the EXACT same thing only this time with a DVD+R, when I got to play it, it says NO DISK. Even when I try to explore the disk in my computer it says no disk. I have ruined several DVD+R's that way and they are expensive I cant keep wasting them. Can someone help.

  2. I don't believe DVDX Xpress will allow you to make multiple copies. I would just copy or rip the files from the DVD+RW to a VIDEO_TS folder on my hard drive then use RecordNow Max or Nero to burn that folder to a DVD-R disc. Or better yet just use DVDshrink in the first place and burn with RecordNow Max or Nero.

Copy the files from the directory that is created to a new folder and then shut down DVDxcopy.

The use another software application to burn - Nero, copy2dvd etc.

    dlb.

  4. Yep Bob is right. DVDXcopy has something built in to stop you making a copy of a copy. Id just go use something other program there are better/cheaper (free!) progs out there that can do just as much.

Or use another program (Nero, ECDC, etc) and make a disk to disk copy of the RW disk to the +R disk.
