    i am getting the Dtivo box and it has a dolby dig optical audio output, meant to go to a receiver of course, but it could go to a capture card that would be able to process the dolby dig sound.

    Does this exist?

    I believe ther are several models. Just look for the more expensive cards.

    They may not have optical, but you can get adaptors to change them to SPDIF
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
