I wasn't sure where to post this request...hope this forum is ok.

I have a d/l a dvdrip of a film in avi format. I have seperated the audio to a .wav file using goldwave then used tmpgenc to create an mpg file from the .wav and .avi files, in which the audio/sync is perfect. Only problem is the video is slightly jerky in places.. I'm sure I've seen somewhere before that if i changed the order of the 'fields' in tmpgenc this could solve my problem

Can anyone enlighten me a little more.

    Thanks for your help
Don't ask me, I know nothing - but there's a helluva lotta nothing in this world !!!!

  2. Firstly next time you post do not use the words downloaded and dvd rip in the same sentence as you are breaching the forum rules and it is illegal.

Sounds like it is a problem with your frame rate. Check the frame rate of the original file (in virtual dub) and the frame rate of the template you are using in tmpgenc and make sure they are the same. This will probably fix your problem.
