Im using vcdeasy to make a svcd and I want to put an autorun menu on it, the automenu program Im using has an exe that u must include on the disk called auto-g.exe, vcdeasy changes this to auto_g.exe and the menu no longer loads from the autorun.inf file. The name change is because vcdeasy will only write files in the 8.3 format so all dvd players can read them, so can 8.3 handle a dash? Ive tried renaming the file to something else but it wont work so its not just a matter of updating the inf file to auto_g.exe.

No, a dash isn't a valid character in ISO9660 filenames.
