  1. Whatta ya know, finally made up my mind (took about 2 weeks of time to decide) about the 'Pinnacle Moviebox USB' and this afternoon bought myself one. Now at first i really had a problem buying this package cause it included 'Pinnacle Studio 8'. Nothing wrong with that application but by buying the moviebox they are forcing the people wanting the moviebox to buy the Studio 8 software as well the moviebox cant be bought without it infact its even worse, the device just wont work without it......

So at first i had a problem with that ('Studio 8' costs about 85 EURO, the equivalent of 85 Dollar, over here) but i needed the device so..., i got it anyway (knowing i would also pay 85 darn hard bucks for the 'forced upon me' Studio 8 software) and then what happened.......the package didnt just contain the 2 disks with the Studio 8 software but there were 4 disks the good ol' folks over at pinnacle musta been sleeping when they made that package cause now i got two instance's of 'Studio 8' and considering the 85 EURO's/Dollars per instance i actually made a profit buying it

Well, boring story but i wanned to tell about it anyway

  3. that doesnt appear to do anything that I cant do with software and my oldish mx440 vivo card, you are paying for the ease of use and the software. and the sleek styling by F.A.porsche

  4. Well, maybe so but the digitalised file that i captured from our svhs camcorder with it turned out to be of excellent quality, infact very close to that of a dvd

Half arsed huh, well, the software isnt even THAT bad but i like to use other programs as well, its just that it was enclosed in the package, dont think i'll make much use of it anyway, only for the capturing part 8)
