How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

i drink both pepsi & coke.. i prefer coke though..
(who will be the one to say they dont put sugared water poison in their body?) -
Both pepsi and coke but prefer coke. I only drink the diet (or lite) versions, the full sugar versions are far too sweet. You can feel it rotting your teeth away as you drink it.
-
tgpo makes me a hot cup of coffee every morning.
the other times i prefer a coffee with a little milk and a little sugar.
Voting the tgpo option as that is the closest.*** My computer can beat me at chess, but is no match when it comes to kick-boxing. *** -
I drink coke, my favorite though is South African GREEN colour Creme Soda. I hate the nasty tasting white British Creme Soda *YUCK!!*
-
If I absolutely have to drink anything without alcohol, Coke is it. No "Lite" junk - it just tastes artificial, and God only knows what's in there to make it taste remotely like The Real Thing. I'd rather have my teeth replaced than my intestines (or whatever internal organs the sugar replacement is likely to affect).

Normally I don't drink Cola but if I do it goes in this order:
Pepsi Max
Diet Coke
Normal Pepsi
Normal Coke -
I'm the only Pepsi drinker here?? Come on, I know others out there have taken the Pepsi taste challenge.
-
tgpo!
Comparing the taste of Coke to the taste of Pepsi is like comparing the taste of roast beef to that of horseshit. -
lol.
I like Pepsi because it seems smoother and much sweeter. Coke has more of a crisp taste to it. Now I will drink them both, but given a choice I'd choose Pepsi. Given a bigger choice I'd choose RC or Jolt -
I perfer drinks that taste extremely carbonated(s/p?). I like the kick, and throw away (yes, even full) cans that aren't or taste flat for any reason.

I started this poll as a joke from another post where i complained about people complaining about DVD-r vs DVD+r where i had stated there was room for both and in the end it was just another means to an end.
You burn DVD's to watch
You drink to quench your thirst
I likened the debate of DVD-r vs DVD+r to the coke pepsi saga....
I guess my point was that no one really cared and that there is room for both (the drinks and DVD's) well that back fired totally instead now you have people debating drinks and DVD formats ....I love this planet...
Oh by the way I would imagine TGPO ice tea to be a full flaouvored blend of crushed paw paw and guva grown in the high mountains of Peru hand picked by some peasants with a rich blend of arabica beans ...with a hint of cheap tea leaves (the ones john west reject) from ceylon served chilled in a regular glass or tumbler. A sophisticated savvy yet cheap and crap Flavour......best drunk after you have had 3 beers and everything tastes the same .....mix it with rum for an interesting blend
Bicardi and Tgpo Ice tea brings the night aliveHow long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

Its a conspiracy I tell ya! Where's the Dr. Pepper? Where's the BEER???
(Although, NOT in the same glass.)
If we're talking about sodas (or pop if you prefer)... then put me down for...

Coke is the original cola. Every other cola has been riding on Coca Colas coat tails trying to prove that they're the better tasting cola. Can't be done. Coca Cola still to this day uses Coca leaves as part of thier formula. Yes, it's true that they take the drug out of it, but still it's a very important part of their flavor. If you think Pepsi tastes better, then I think it's safe to assume that you'll believe anything that some smart marketing executives will dazzle your eyes and ears with. You might as well tell me that Mars would make a better Earth than Earth itself. And just take a look at how many calories Coke has per can compared with Pepsi. Full flavored Coke is almost a diet drink compared to almost any other soda. (yes that's exaggerated, but take a look for yourself.) As far as I'm concerned, even RC Cola tastes better than Pepsi. Just look at the answers already listed here. COKE IS BY FAR....A LOT BETTER.

I prefer Dr. Pepper, followed by Coke. However recently I realized I was drinking an insane number of colas a day, so I've cut back to only drinking them with meals.

Sorry, I don't even consider any other coke products. Only original Classic Coca Cola. You can let Pepsi and the newer Coke compete as far as I'm concerned. Classic Coca Cola is the one that can't be beat. I'm sure they're paying up the ying yang to get coca leaves that are de-cocainized and are trying like crazy to come up with a formula that is as good as the original, but even they(coca cola co.) can't do that. (PS: try drinking about 4 to 6 classic cokes in a couple of hours and tell me that it doesn't work better than coffee.)

After reading this article I'm never going to drink another Coke

@MOVIEGEEK
Maybe I missed something in the story, but there is nothing there to make me stop drinking Coke. -
"The leaf is ground up, mixed with sawdust, soaked in bicarbonate of soda, percolated with toluene, steam blasted, mixed with powdered Kola nuts, and then pasteurized"
MMM...MMM...good. -
Much better then what the drug makes do. The end product taste great, and I'm willing to bet removing it would change the taste, I've had plenty of Coke knock offs and some come close but none compare.
Im the biggest fan of Classic Coke in a glass bottle, expensive for the ammount of coke but not having its flavor being changed by the container makes it awsome.
