I'm not getting SVCD2DVDMPG v1.1 to work. Almost every .mpg
I have is said to be "not a valid mpg-file".
But when I burn SVCD's using the very same files with Nero they work brilliant on my standalone DVD player.
The few mpg's thats not denied by SVCD2.... creates larger and larger
files until the HD fills up completly.

  2. Use vcdeasy to rewrite the header, or use isobuster to extract mpeg's from bin files.

I used another prog. a while back (don't remember which) to rewrite
the header (at least I think thats what it did) and then SVCD2DVD
didn't abort because "not a valid mpeg", instead it started to create a
a file that grew in size until it completely filled the HD.
This problem/question is mentioned in the FAQ, but there is no
    answer to it!!
How exactly do I use vcdeasy to rewrite the header? And does it involve
a lot of klicks and waiting? Because the splendid idea with SVCD2DVD
is to avoid just that. Obviously the problem with my mpeg's is located in the header, but still, when burned with Nero they make svcd's with superb video and audio quality!! When the source is a bin file I use daemon
to extract the mpeg which I guess should work just as well as using
isobuster?? Wouldn't it be great if SVCD2DVD automatically fixed
    the problem in the header!!?

Silly me didn't use real mpeg's!!! Although some of them were named
with the extension .mpg. Others were just copied from a svcd-source
(.bin, using daemon) and renamed to .mpg by me. Mistake!!!!
They were in fact .dat files with a Riff header. Got myself a newer version of vcdeasy and converted to true mpeg's. And it didn't take that long either.
svcd2dvd worked perfectly and didn't hang or create a megalarge file!!
All I have to do now is to test the created "dvd-mpg" and see if it
    burns alright on a dvd-rw.
