  1. Hi I am very new to all this stuff, but having read some of the help pages on this site, I can kinda understand some of the lingo...

Basically I want to be able to copy a DVD to my Pocket PC, so as to be able to view a film in a 320x240 image on a PDA, Pocket PC, in either of the formats, MPEG1 or AVI-Motion-jpeg...

How is the easiest, cheapest and quickest to do this ?
also say you copy 2 hrs of a DVD, how big a file will it be on a 320x240 mpeg or avi ?

  2. If you choose settings such as 400 for framerate and mono for sound and then 320 by 240 the size will be around 230mb. There is a program that will rip and encode to the size automatically. All you do is choose the size of your memory card. I have it at home but can't remember what it is called. I will check it out and post back tonight.
    If it's wet, drink it
