  1. Congratulations ChrissyBoy!

Fantastic program, that helps me to safe a lot of time! I put 11 tv-extracts (powervcr) together.

    Still there are some questions:

    1)
Why is the total of the filesizes for the DVD smaller than the one of my original *.mpgs?

Therefor I would appreciate a filesize-index in your program. Otherwise you have to run the program several times...

    2)
Will there be any project-save-function? Would be great, too... Especially in cause of question no. 1...

    3)
Authoring/"menueing" 11 files I remarked, that the file-scrolling could be more comfortable...

But the program is just great!!! Thank you a lot!

    Yours, Diogenes

By the way: The problem was discussed once here. But any way: If you have black borders on the right and left movieside, playing by your DVD-player: This is because your DVD-player doesn't play the "DVD-SVCD"-format correctly. I tested it with my two standalone-players. So there is no program-bug!

  2. I agree that it is a great software, have'nt found any software comparable anywhere. But a resizeable window would definitely help when authoring dvd's with a large amount of files. Myself authored a dvd with 49 files, scrolling was really difficult so it went on and on. I guess you hear mostly complaints here in the forum, but it's also the only place to go with our problems, but still, like mentioned before, there's nothing out there like this, and it comes with live support 8)

I'll take a look at making the window resizable.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  4. Concerning the filesize, I just realised, that SVCD2DVD makes some of my files (directly taken from "tv" by avermedia-card and powervcr) smaller. I examined one of the files (original 28 minutes; after SVCD2DVD 3 minutes). The file (mpeg2) is corrupt ("dts"-errors). But MediaPlayer doesn't have any problems to play the file. Do you have any idea how the file can be corrected?

    Thank you in advance!

Question for you... Did you create a separate VTS\Menu items for these files? If so how did you squeeze 49 buttons\titles on a menu page? Did you use the menu maker in SVCD2DVD or some other pgm?
    Thanks!!

  6. Yes I created separate vts for each clip because fast forwarding is so slow on my standalone, max 2x. No, no menu, the buttons does'nt show on my JVC XV N5.
So don't buy this model if you want menus...
