Please help with using Recordnow Max

Can anyone explain to me how to use Recordnow Max. I downloaded the latest evaluation version from their site last night. I used it to burn a movie and made a coaster instead. I used this guide http://users.pandora.be/rudy.stremersch/recnow.html I am using an NEC ND1300a burner with the latest firmware. My media is Philips DVD+R.

When the disk finished burning it would not play or be recognized in a stand alone player. So I put it back into my pc and instead of treating it like a dvd disk and automatically starting the movie up, Windows XP just treated it like a data disk and opened the disk and showed the Video_TS folder sitting there.

Not sure what I did wrong. When adding files and/or folders in Recordnow Max should I have just highlighted all the files and added them instead of adding the Video_TS folder which they are in.

Please help cause I am tired of making coasters.

If it really is named Video_TS it won't work

Try VIDEO_TS

Hmm......good question. I can't remember what I had named it. So the dvd player recognizes a file named VIDEO_TS and not Video_TS?

First download and install the pxEngine update form Sonic or Stomp website.

Second make sure you use these settings too

And put an AUDIO_TS folder beside the VIDEO_TS folder just in case.

Tompika what verison of Recordnow Max are you using? Cause the sonic website says this upgrade is for RecordNow! 6.0, RecordNow! 5.0, and RecordNow! DX/Max 4.6

The version that I downloaded from the Stomp website is RecordNow Max 4.5

Yeah it's used to be like this, now become that

I'm pretty sure you can install it won't take anything away from 4.5

However you can try to find DX 4.6 or 4.61.

I just updated to DX 4.61 but I cant find the link.
