IfoEdit authoring problem DVD´s don´t work on Pioneer dv-444

PowerDVD and XBOX with DVDx2 software plays great those DVD that i have made, but Pioneer DV-444 plays only about 5sec. When i make copy with DVDShrink to same DVD media, works great but when i´m authoring with IFoEdit DVD´s don´t work. Material is NTSC (m2v,ac3 and selfmade .sup files). I have to test, what PAL material says on DV-444

Is there any other authoring program which can handle .sup files ?

Any solution for me ? do i have to buy another DVD-Player =)

I have same problem with ifoedit authoring and my pioneeer 444...so you are not alone...

I don't think there are any other authoring tool that supports sups.

I also had problems authoring with ifoedit.... until i read somewhere that after the authoring process ends you need to exit ifoedit, then restart it.

On the main page open the authored dvd. Then click on "get vts vectors". It will ask you to process and save all files... click yes.

It will process... i'm not sure wether it saves it or not... i just save it again to be sure. Exit after saving and burn on dvd-rw first...
it should work now...... i think.

I think you have been tested various burning software and there is no solution ? =)

Do you have problems with PAL and NTSC material ?


I authored one PAL movie with IfoEdit and that´s works great. I have to try that Get VTS sectors thing for NTSC movie, but i think i have allready tested it, not sure.
