I have just got a Panasonic DMR-E50 and have noticed that when scenes change, particularly when there is a lot of motion, the whole picture flickers.
It doesn't happen on every scene change just those with lots of movement.
Has anyone else noticed this?

which quality setting are you using ?
Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
Thanks for replying.
This flickering is not just on recordings it is even when watching live TV through the recorder (for example when you are watching what you are recording).
I have the output of my cable set top box (RGB Scart) going to AV2 of the DMR-E50 (set to RGB) then AV1 of DMR-E50 (RGB Scart) going to my TV.
I have now changed the cable output to be Composite and the input of AV2 on the DMR-E50 to be Video and this seems to have cured it, but I feel as though I am missing out on the RGB connection. -
what about quality setting ?
