  1. HI all!

I have made myown 5.1 AC3 files and have used Adobe Premiere to create a compliant MPEG2 video file.

    My question is this...

What should I use to multiplex the AC3 and the MPEG2 video together to make DVD Video VOB files that I can burn with Copy2DVD?

Or is there another way to do this?

Thanks very mucha for any help, it is appreciated!
    regards.

You don't have to multiplex if you use a good dvd authoring tool like
tmpgenc dvd author or dvd-lab or ifoedit

Add the video and then the audio and author it(make the vob files) and burn it.

  3. Cheers Balders!

So, TMPG DVD Author will let me put the 5.1 channel AC3 with the video?
    Thats sound good.

  5. Do what I do and multiplex the files together with TMPGEnc. Go to MPEG Tools->Simple Multiplex. Add your video and audio files. Name your output "whatever".m2v and start. Now you have a m2v (MPEG-2) file with 5.1 Dolby Digital that will pass through TMPGEnc DVD Author with no problem

Actually you don't even have to join them, in TMPGEnc DVD Author ,
you can select your audio source when you add your video source.
It won't let you listen to it, but as said, it will pass right through.

TMPG DVD Author does not allow you to open AC3 files.
Yes it does, I had this problem with an AC3 file - wouldn't accept it - ran AC3Fix on it and bingo it worked like a charm!

  9. you can also try movie factory 2 (do a search for the AC3 tweak). You have to go into the registry and change the AC3=0 to AC3=1 (or vice versa).
