  1. This is gonna be my first capture with a DV Camcorder, everything is fine but the problem is with the 4 Gig Limit, im using Windows 2K, with a NTFS partition and ULEAD VIDEOSTUDIO 7 so i dunno what could be the problem cuz i know Win2K doesnt have that kind of problem any sugestions?

    You may have to go into VideoStudio settings to disable 4 GIG limit. I don't use VideoStudio so I can't help you find it. If you are using NTFS, you should be able to transfer full tape or untill you run out of disk space.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. According to the online manual, the software is supposed to know what your file system is (FAT32 or NTFS) and adjust accordingly. Might be something that's time limited rather than file size limited, otherwise one might run out of disk space.

    If your manual matches the online one, go to page 20 and make sure your capture duration is set properly.

    Hey trojanrabbit, I used to live in MA.

    Hey KnightRider2000, If you cant get it to work, then you may want to try this out:

    It's a free DV transfer utility that creats Type-1 and Type-2 AVIs. As for me I have Premiere, so natrualy that's what I use.
