Capturing Halo 3 gameplay from computer monitor to computer

this aounds a little confusing but heres my set up i have an HD monitor that has a VGA and DVI-D input the DVI-D is the computer to the monitor and the VGA is the XBOX 360 to the monitor ( I am using a xbox 360 VGA adapter )
Here's my question though i want to get my HD gameplay ( HALO 3 ) onto my computer but when im am playing halo i have to switch the input from a button on my monitor from DVI_D ( deskstop) to VGA (xbox 360) So is there a possible way that while playing on my computer monitor i can also capture in HD on my computer?

PLEASE HELP I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!
