  1. Hi everyone !

Ok, i have a little problem.

Iam follow the LeeBear guide https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/111846.php

    The problem is:
I load the XviD movie into VDub and i have "VBR audio stream detected" message.
So to fix it i will need to decompress the audio.
So i decide now to split movie to 2 parts.Iam find exact fram when i want to split the movie and mark it.
    Then i save part1.avi and then i save part2.avi with :
    Video - Direct Stream
Audio - Full Pro. Mode (Convert 44100 + No Compression PCM)

And here is the problem, the part2.avi when i try to play it is audio lost its sync !!!

According to LeeBear guide i do exactly the same but the part2.avi always loose the audio sync.....
    Can anyone experienced that?

    Here's what I would do:

Extract the audio to a wav file with Goldwave (just load the avi then save).
Re-load the wav audio back into the avi with the "wav audio" command in Vdub.
Edit and save out your parts in Vdub using audio and video "Direct Stream Copy."

  4. Thank you ZippyP !!!
Its great idea.....but instead i used VDub .

    I did this :
    1.Loaded Avi ,ignored VBR message.
2.Set Audio to Full Process (Convert 44100 High Quality + No COmpression PCM)
3.Save WAV - one huge wav file
4.Go back to VDub in audio set instead of Source Audio set WAV Audio
5.Loaded that ripped huge wav file.
6.Edit the movie where i want part1 and part2 to be.
    7.Saved As Avi.

    Synch Problem Solved.

Good deal, glad to hear it!

I like to use Goldwave as it will handle all types of audio (so far) whether it's MP3-VBR or even AC3.
