  1. I have recorded my favourite tv show on a DVD with my standalone-DVD-recorder. One DVD-RW contains the following:

    TITLE ONE: episode XY
    CAP1: episode XY part one
    CAP2: commercial
    CAP3: episode XY part two

Now, I used DVDDecrypter to put video stream on my HD in order to edit the VOB stream (renamed as .mpg) to delete commercial. I selected just chapters 1 and 3 and the VOB file was correctly created (no commercial inside).

The next step is to create a new DVD-R that contains multiple episodes, well edited. I used Ulead DVD Workshop to do this but when I import mpg file (previous created) and divide it into multiple new chapters, the software results in an error.
That's why the timecode is not continuos. Even if commercial was deleted into VOB-MPG file, the timecode-gap between chapter 1 and 3 remains and that timecode is considered by DVD Workshop to set new chapters (but the result is that new global timecode could be LOWER than a chapter-set).

What I need to solve the problem is to copy chapter 1 and 3 into a single VOB file on HD with a new, continuos timecode. Obviously I hope not to encode video stream...AGAIN !

    Any idea on it ?!

    Thank you !

    I would just:
    1) rip some chapters from a DVD
    2) rip them in a single VOB file
    3) get a VOB with a continuos, correct timecode.
